Hi Everyone and Happy Thursday to you!

I remember buying boxed, frozen Chicken Cordon Bleu and loving the flavour of them. I've never made the original version, with cheese and ham inside but hope to try these ones soon. Mozzarella cheese could easily be substituted instead of Swiss and pancetta could be substituted for the bacon slices...use your imagination and Enjoy!

If you have any comments, suggestions or recipes that you would like to share with me, I would love to hear from you.

Inside-Out Chicken Cordon Bleu

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 slices bacon
1 jar Alfredo sauce
4 slices Swiss cheese

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place 1/2 Parmesan cheese in a pie plate. Dip chicken breasts in cheese, to coat. Wrap bacon slices around chicken breasts and place in 8" square casserole dish. Bake for 10 minutes.

2. In medium sized bowl, combine Alfredo with remaining Parmesan cheese.

3. Remove casserole from oven and pour Alfredo mixture over chicken. Return to oven and bake for 10 minutes longer. Top each chicken breast with a slice of cheese and return to the oven. Bake for 5 minutes longer or until chicken is thoroughly cooked and cheese is melted.
