Quick and Easy Recipes

Hi Everyone and Happy Friday to you all! Today's meal will be a fun one! My boys LOVE tacos and this recipe has all the ingredients that tacos do without the mess because they are served in a bowl.

For convenience, serve toppings in a jumbo muffin tin so they can all be passed around the table at the same time.

Have a nice weekend!

One Pan Tacos

1 lb. ground beef
1/2-1 package taco seasoning mix
3/4 cups water
2 cups instant rice
2 cups water
1 cup grated cheddar cheese

tortilla chips
shredded lettuce
chopped tomato
sour cream
salsa
diced cucumber

Brown and drain ground beef. Add taco seasoning and 3/4 cups of water. Bring to boil then reduce the heat. Simmer for 10 minutes, uncovered. Stir occassionally. Add 2 cups of water and return to a boil.

Stir in uncooked rice and top with cheese. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.

Serve in a bowl and top with tortilla chips, shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, sour cream, salsa, diced cucumber or any other toppings you enjoy on tacos.
