Hi Everyone and Happy Monday to you! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Our neighbourhood was very alive this weekend with everyone outside doing yard work and enjoying the wonderful weather.

Today's recipe is inspired by an email I received from a subscriber and reminds me of a recipe I used to make but I didn't add the chicken and cooked it on the stove with green peppers, mushrooms and onions. Thanks for the reminder of the recipe, Deb!

Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

1 package fettuccine or linguine
1 jar Classico Alfredo Sauce or Garlic Alfredo
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
frozen or fresh vegetables, (optional)

Cook pasta as directed on package.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake sauce and chicken together in a casserole dish. When chicken is no longer pink and sauce is heated, (20 to 30 minutes), pour over cooked pasta and serve. If adding vegetables add to sauce when chicken is nearly cooked and heat until cooked.
