Hi Everyone and Happy Sunday to you! It is hard to believe that April is half over. This recipe sounds really tasty, easy and unique! Enjoy!
Pita Chili
1 pound ground beef
1 can tomato soup
1 can drained kidney beans
1/2 package frozen spinach, defrosted and drained
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 cup water
2 tsp. worchestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. fresh cracked black pepper
shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
6 pita halves
In a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef until browned, stirring to separate meat. Drain fat.
Combine soup, kidney beans, spinach, oregano, water, worchestershire sauce and pepper. Add to ground beef and heat through, stirring to mix. Spoon into pita and top with cheese.
Serve with fresh veggies and rice.
