August 6, 2007 Sausage and Peppers

Hi Everyone and Happy Monday to you.

Quite often Italian sausage is on sale. Smoked sausage can also be substituted. Enjoy!



1 pkg. sweet or hot Italian sausage
1 chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
1 chopped red pepper
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
Olive oil
cooked penne pasta
Parmesan Cheese


Poke sausage with a fork and boil for 15 minutes to ensure they are cooked through, this also makes them less greasy. Cut into bite-sized pieces.

Saute onion, peppers, and garlic in some olive oil, add chopped up sausage.

Serve over hot pasta, with plenty of parmesan cheese, and some garlic bread.
