Hi Everyone and welcome to a week that is nearly over. Is everyone ready for fall in a couple days?

Today's recipe sounds delicious and I can't wait to try it. Because we don't use or buy ketchup, I will substitute barbecue sauce instead. Enjoy!

Slow Cooked Beer Roast

4 lb. lean rump roast
1 can beer
1-3/4 cup ketchup
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 lb. egg noodles
1/4 cup butter

Place beef roast that has been well rinsed and dried then sprinkled with coarse salt and fresh cracked black pepper or steak seasoning in slow cooker.

Mix
beer, brown sugar and ketchup then pour over seasoned pot roast in crockpot insert. Slow cook on low for 8 hours.

Cook noodles, add butter and serve beef over buttered noodles.
