Hi Everyone and Happy Monday to you.

Last week I was telling a friend of mine about the concept of dishwasher cooked salmon that I had seen on food tv and she had never heard of ANYTHING being cooked in the dishwasher, so I pulled up a recipe for her. She was shocked. I have to admit I've never gotten the nerve to try this but...some day when salmon is on sale, I'm going to get brave and give it a test...And...if you try it or have tried it, I'd LOVE to hear the feedback. Enjoy!

Salmon fillets or steaks
olive oil
Salt and pepper
Dried dill weed or fresh dill, to taste
Fresh squeezed lemon juice

Cut sheets of aluminum foil, large enough to wrap each salmon fillet. Brush one side of each piece of foil with some olive oil.

Place one salmon filet on each and drizzle some olive oil on top of each piece of salmon. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and dill weed to taste. Drizzle a bit of the lemon juice over each piece of salmon.

Carefully wrap each filet and sealing each foil packet. Press the packets to test that they are sealed. If air escapes, re-wrap package. Place on the top rack of the dishwasher, along with dirty dishes, (for timing), and run for a full cycle to drying stage. Salmon will be done when the dishwasher runs the full wash and dry cycle.
