Hi Everyone and Happy Saturday to you!

I had a truly busy start on my day today! I was up at 6am to set up for a garage sale. It was lots of fun! I had lots of cookbooks, kitchen gadgets, misc. books, VHS movies, and CD's, just to name a few items. I sold a fair amount of stuff before the rain decided to show its grumpy head around 12:30. At this point I decided to pack it in. I'm hoping to have another sale in 2 weeks to get rid of the rest of my offers.

Hubby picked up steak and scallops for supper tonight which we had with salad and baked potatoes...they were so YUMMY!!

Today's feature is steak. We have made butter dips many times, and the boys love dipping EVERYTHING on their plates in the butter. Any herb that may be on hand can be used. We usually don't put the dijon mustard in ours but I will be trying it soon. Enjoy!

Grilled Steak with Dijon Herb Butter

6 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 medium onion, minced
8 to 10 sprigs chopped parsley
8 to 10 chopped chives
worchestershire sauce, to taste
2 pounds flank steak
Coarse salt and fresh, cracked black pepper
vegetable oil

1. Herb Butter: mix the butter, mustard, onion and worchestershire sauce in a medium-size bowl, then stir in the parsley and chives.

2. When you're ready to cook the steak, preheat the grill to medium heat. Rub the meat with the coarse salt and a bit of pepper then oil the grill before laying on the steaks.

3. Cook for about 6 minutes on each side for medium. While the steak is still hot, dot with the herb butter, slice thinly on the diagonal, and arrange on a platter.

4. Make extra butter for dipping.

Serves 8.

Serve with Baked Potatoes and salad.
