Hi Everyone and Happy Tuesday to you. I tried Deb's recipe for Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo for dinner last night and it received rave reviews here, too! Hubby who doesn't like chicken, LIKED it!! That says alot in itself. The boys cleared their plates and there were no leftovers. I added 1/2 jar of milk to the alfredo sauce, put the lid on it and shook it well and poured it over the chicken and sauce. (Next time I will try chicken stock).Teriyaki Beef Plate
1 1/3 cups medium-grain rice
1 1/4 pounds flank or bottom round steak, cut across grain into 1/4-inch- thick slices
1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
1 1/3-2 cups prepared macaroni salad, chilled
Place the steak slices in a shallow dish and cover with the teriyaki sauce. Marinate for 30 minutes.
Preheat the broiler, if using.
Prepare the rice according to package directions.
Remove the meat from the marinade, letting excess marinade drip off. Reserve the sauce.
Grill the steaks in the broiler until browned, about 1-1/2 minutes per side. Let meat rest a few minutes.
While the meat cooks, bring the reserved sauce to a boil in a small saucepan and cook on a low simmer for a few minutes.
Serve meat with sauce, rice and macaroni salad.
